Haykanoush Restaurant

"Haykanoush" Restaurant is situated on historic Sharambeyan street, and is part of "Old Diljan" Complex. The Restaurant has two floors and can accommodate up to 85 guests. The Restaurant's dining room looks out on Dilijan's lush, natural beauty.

Our designers created a replica of late 19th early 20th century Dilijan dining room. The high ceiling is decorated with wooden beams and chandeliers, the wooden floors are covered with famous hand-made Tufenkian Carpets. The design of the restaurant creates a warm atmosphere, which is perfect for intimate dining or memorable gatherings.

Diners can enjoy dishes like mushroom and apricot soup or pomegranate stew, made from Armenia's two signature fruits. Traditional Armenian pilafs are served alongside dishes that showcase a variety of Armenian cheeses. Visitors should also be sure to the breads and pastries from the restaurants bakery. Among the bakery's offerings is Boureg, a flakey pastry filed with spinach or spiced meats.

Mushroom and Apricot soup
A rich, creamy mushroom soup prepared with dried apricots, served with sour cream and fresh parsley

Dilijan Salad
A delightful mix of black olives, chickpeas, bell peppers, greens, spices and tahini sauce

Beef Stew with Pomegranate
Beef stewed in pomegranate juice, with a mixture of herbs and spices. Prepared in an oven and served in a clay pot.

Cracked Wheat Pilaf with Basil Leaves
Wheat pilaf prepared with fine crashed noodles and basil leaves, served with black pepper on top.

Dolma Rolled in Raspberry Leaves
Fresh raspberry leaves stuffed with ground meat mix

Lahmajun
Prepared in the bakery, with a mixture of mozzarella, Armenian cheese and dried mint

Semolina balls with honey
Served with walnuts and cinnamon

Tufenkian's bakery in the airport

Tufenkian introduced its freshly baked lahmajoons and byouregs in the Yerevan's Zvartnots International airport. You can taste our delicious baked goods, such as byouregs with cheese; greens and sour flavor, as well lahmajoons with meat and spices, and cheese mixture. You can choose from the bakery's many desserts, such as our famous apple pie, Armenian Gata and date pudding.
