Armenian Hotels

DAY 1Arrival in Yerevan (“Zvartnots” airport). Airport pick-up and transfer to Avan Villa Yerevan Hotel. Breakfast (depending on the time of arrival). City tour of Yerevan. Visit to Erebuni – the predecessor of modern Yerevan. Visit Tufenkian Carpets Showroom. Observe the craft of weaving of a genuine Armenian carpet right before your eyes.

DAY 2 Breakfast at hotel. Visit the Khor Virap monastery (17th c.), Ruins of Artashat and the capital of Armenian kingdom from 2nd c. BC to 4th c. AD. Lunch at Avan Villa restaurant. Free time in Yerevan. Overnight at Avan Villa Yerevan hotel.

DAY 3 Breakfast at hotel. Visit Armenia’s ancient capital - Vagharshapat. St. Hripsimeh (7th c.) Church and the Echmiatsin Museum. Lunch and then free time in Yerevan. Overnight at Avan Villa Yerevan Hotel.

DAY 4 Breakfast at hotel. Check out from Avan Villa Hotel. Visit Lake Sevan and Sevan monastery (9th c.). Observe the craft of weaving of a genuine Armenian carpet right before your eyes at local carpet factory.Check in at Marak Tsapatagh hotel. Lunch at Zanazan restaurant. Free time. Overnight at Marak Tsapatagh hotel.

DAY 5Breakfast at hotel. Free day at the Tsapatagh village. Experience the pre-industrial village life. Join activities such as hiking, swimming (both in the lake and the pool), sauna, hot tub, billiards, horseback riding, ping-pong. Arrange optional boat trip across Lake Sevan.Enjoy your evening at the bar with fireplace.

DAY 6 Breakfast at hotel. Visit Dilijan city and Haghartsin monastery (7th – 13th c.). Visit city of Vanadzor. Check in Avan Dzoraget Hotel.

DAY 7 Breakfast at hotel. Visit town of Alaverdi and Old Bridge Return to Yerevan through city of Ashtarak. Visit churches of Ashtarak.

DAY 8 Check out from Marak Tsapatagh hotel. Garni temple and fortress (2nd c. BC – 3rd c. AD), Geghard monastery (13th c.). Check in at Avan Villa Yerevan hotel. Dinner at the Avan Villa restaurant.

DAY 9 Free day at the Avan Villa Yerevan Hotel. Departure from “Zvartnots” international airport.
